Welcome! My name is Michele Ogle and I am a librarian who is currently seeking work in the Charlotte Metro Area in North Carolina.
Previously I worked at Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland, where I was a Librarian I in the Periodicals Department. For a time I worked under the wonderful Joseph Eagan, who has since moved on to the Montgomery County Public Library system. While at Pratt, I honed my online information retrieval skills at the reference desk and as a volunteer for the Maryland AskUsNow! online chat reference service.
During graduate school, I worked as a student assistant for a couple of different library departments at Indiana University: the government documents repository and the university archives. Prior to that, I worked as a clerk at the Montpelier-Harrison Twp. Public Library while in high school and during two summer vacations from undergraduate school.

A bit about me:
I love to read both fiction and non-fiction, as my GoodReads reading list indicates. I also enjoy playing video games, especially when I am able to play co-op with my husband. I’m a moderately skilled knitter, but only a beginner at crochet, quilting, sewing, and weaving. I seem to spend more time planning my garden than I do actually gardening; I’m pretty sure I grow more varieties of mushrooms than flowers in this North Carolina clay. I live with my husband, three hyper ferrets, and a large book collection in a very small house.
